-For myself, the Internet has let me chat and talk with several people around the world in seconds instead of sending letters through mail. The ability to talk to a stranger can also be risky but i can tell who is real and who is not. I've chat with people around the world through www.interpals.net to get to know people from around the world and see their perspective of how they live. With that i see the struggles, Culture and much more including the way they live and why. The net, allows me to stay in touch with my local friends and family members because for example, if my friend has no phone he or she usually has a Facebook and i can easily contact my friends for any help for school or event to chat. Online, i can video chat with my family members from other regions and even search unanswered questions i have via Google.
- Having the advantages to easily have a connection to talk to someone or get help from the net has made everyone LAZY! i beleive. Even myself, because back then people use the library more often than computers, but now that the Internet has developed and everybody can afford it, people choose the easy way. Sometimes it is helpful because some people don't have the time to mail in a letter or even look up for a book in the library so i also believe that the net is helpful to get things done quicker. In contrast, at some point when i have homework in the computer i randomly search other stuff that is not necessary and slow myself down or take away my time doing other things in the computer i shouldn't do. So the net, makes things easier for me but i take a long time doing them because i get easily distracted by other online sites.
